Who we are
elson.ai and the ELSON app are operated by TEMPO AI LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, 1111 E 10th St #1006, Alamogordo, NM 88310, USA. For anything related to this policy, write to team@elson.ai.
Mailbox data in the ELSON app (Google and Microsoft)
When you connect a Google (Gmail or Google Workspace) or Microsoft 365 mailbox, ELSON asks for two permissions: to send email (Gmail: gmail.send; Microsoft: Mail.Send) and to read email (Gmail: gmail.readonly; Microsoft: Mail.Read). ELSON sends from your mailbox only the sequence messages and replies you approved. It reads your mailbox only to find the answers, out-of-office notices and bounces in the threads ELSON started, so that it can stop or pause a sequence, honour an opt-out, show you the reply and draft your answer. Other messages are not stored. Your access tokens are stored encrypted. The replies and message details ELSON keeps are stored in our database, encrypted at rest, and are processed only by the service providers that run the app (hosting, database, background jobs), by Google's Gemini API, which drafts your answers, and by the AI agent you connect to ELSON (for example ChatGPT or Claude): when you ask it, ELSON returns to that agent the replies and message details of your own campaigns, and nothing else from your mailbox. What that agent does with them is governed by your agreement with its provider, not by ELSON. To warm up a Microsoft 365 mailbox, ELSON gives its access to Warmy, our warm-up provider, which sends and answers warm-up messages from it; Google mailbox data is never shared with Warmy. If you set a forwarding address for a mailbox, ELSON copies to it the replies it finds in the threads ELSON started; it forwards nothing else and nowhere else. No one at ELSON reads your messages unless you ask us to for support, for security, or when the law requires it. When ELSON drafts your answer, Google's Gemini API processes the reply text only for that draft, and ELSON does not allow it to be used to train models. We never sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Data moves between your browser, our servers and these providers over encrypted connections only. When you disconnect your mailbox, ELSON retires and deletes its access tokens and revokes them at Google, and it stops reading the mailbox at once. The replies and message details already stored stay in your ELSON workspace, encrypted at rest, until you ask us to delete them or you close your workspace. Replies you forwarded to your own address, or hold in your AI agent's history, are outside ELSON and are not deleted by us. You can disconnect your mailbox at any time in ELSON, or remove ELSON's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions: ELSON then stops reading it and Google access is revoked. To have the stored data deleted, write to team@elson.ai; we delete it within 30 days of your request. If we change what we do with Google data, we tell you in ELSON before the change and ask for your consent again.
Google API Services User Data Policy
ELSON's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we collect
When you visit elson.ai we collect analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type) only after you consent through the cookie banner. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to share. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies. Essential cookies that remember your consent choice are always on.
Legal basis and retention
We process analytics data on the basis of your consent and correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default retention settings; email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request and our business records.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and similar laws), you can request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email team@elson.ai and we will handle the request.
